CBD Pet Tincture
This pet focused product uses
natural bacon and liver flavors to give a pungent and
desirable flavor profile for pets to get CBD. Since the product
is in MCT oil, it makes it easy and versatile to put on pet’s dry
or wet food, or directly in their bowl or mouth. The product
only uses isolated CBD extracts without any other
cannabinoids (like THC) because the therapeutic properties
have not been as researched and verified as they have with cannabidiol alone. It is best to have
the product given with food as more than usual oil is being introduced into the animal’s diet.

FlavorBenefits and Uses
Dogs and cats, like humans, have an endocannabinoid system - or an internal system by which they can absorb internal and external cannabinoids that regulate mood, sleep, pain, hunger, and other physiological systems. But like humans, all endocannabinoid systems, digestive systems and pain levels are all factors that decide how much CBD is needed. So keeping the recommendation
as open and broad as possible is best for this. You may get requests from people regarding their specific dog - always preface with “we don’t have an on staff veterinarian and it is always good to check with your dog’s vet, but...” then lead into the general recommendation for each pet:
■ The general rule of thumb is that as pet size/weight or pain increases, so goes along the dosage. If for example a german shepard and a yorkie are using the product, obviously it will be better to have the larger dog start with a higher dosage and the yorkie with smaller.○ For Pain: Dogs who are suffering from joint problems, recovering from operations, or just generally declining in older age, it is best to give the dog 1 full dropper 1-2x during the day with food. It should always be understood that its best to establish a baseline for the dog, to see what dosage works - if 1⁄2 a dropper works for them to get relief from their pain, then 1 full dropper isn’t needed. Additionally, encourage the purchaser to know that if no effects are
seen, it is best to increase the dosage slightly until they see results. The product works, it’s just a matter of them finding the effective dose for their dog.___________________________________________________________________
○ For Anxiety: For dogs who are suffering from symptoms like separation anxiety or general anxiety issues, giving a dog 1⁄2 - 1 full dropper once or twice a day is a good place to start. Then the statement should always be made that the adult should observe the dog to see if it’s symptoms decrease. If not, its best to increase the dosage. Its best that the
